Bill Graham--One Of Music's Best Concert Promoters--Man Who Was Instrumental With The Filmore East And West---And Gave Back To Society

Bill Graham for those who don't know, was a major concert promoter who brought the world's best guitar players, singers and musicians together at some of the biggest stadiums and arenas in the 60's and 70's .Bill also helped out those less fortunate than ourselves.

These musicians played mainly because they wanted to just play for the fans and thenselves.

Bill supported musicians through grants, and those in arts, education, and other well thought of organizations that lessen environmental impact. One of the first endeavors of the Bill Graham Foundation was in San Francisco at the Haight Ashbury Free Clinic--and is still ongoing.

Helping people become better people by helping others was always a huge goal of Bill's. I hope it's yours. For more information on the Bill Graham Foundation and how to become involved,or give your time or money,go to:

Unfortunately they took down the video I had for the Bill Graham Foundation, but I thought I'd put this up. For those of you who are younger musicians and fans of Fleetwood Mac, they were originally a blues act in the 60's and early 70's before they changed.  Peter Green was one of the best guitar players I've listened to on tape and record. You'll love this!

If you live in California, or in San Francisco you can still give to Bill's foundation. It helps a lot of people less fortunate.
